Moroccan Clay Facial Mask
Rhassoul is an exquisite spa quality clay from ancient deposits unearthed from the fertile Atlas Mountains in Morocco. Its cleansing properties leave skin looking clear, clean, and refreshed. Clay is alive and shimmers with electromagnetic energy. Rhassoul is thought to be far more effective at achieving better results in skin treatments because it contains more silica and magnesium than other clays. It is appropriate for all skin conditions. Clay loosens clogged pores and cleanses impurities without dissolving the protective epidermal layer. It exfoliates dry, dead skin cells increasing tone and clarity. It absorbs excess oil, refines and fades the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles, hyperpigmentation, and scarring.
In a small bowl, put a teaspoon of clay and dribble water and mix until a creamy consistency is reached. Apply all over skin with small mask fan brush or fingertips. Allow to dry. Drying times and thickness may vary and average between 10 – 15 minutes. Rinse thoroughly.
A mask is invigorating and may stimulate redness in the area applied. However, it is not harmful. After removing clay, put moisture back into your skin by applying Rose & Sea Facial Serum and/or Rose & Sea Facial Cream to cool and calm.
